Julia Doptis was born and raised in Metro Detroit. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from James Madison College at Michigan State University, majoring in International Relations with a minor in Russian and Eurasian Studies. She later earned her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School.

While attending law school through Wayne Law's part-time program, Julia balanced her studies with hands-on legal experience. She worked as a legal assistant for three years before joining Marko Law as a law clerk in January 2025, where she gained experience across a wide range of civil litigation matters.

Since becoming an attorney at Marko Law, Julia has dedicated her practice to advocating for individuals in complex legal disputes. She is committed to providing thoughtful, client-focused representation and helping clients navigate challenging legal issues with compassion and determination.

Julia is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ), the Detroit Bar Association, and is a participant in the MAJ Leadership Academy, where she continues to develop her advocacy and leadership skills alongside fellow attorneys.

Outside the office, Julia enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her miniature dachshund, Arthur.
