Gasper Stare is a nationally recognized trial attorney and relentless advocate for families and victims of wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, and civil rights violations. He has first-chaired and second-chaired more than 15 jury trials in state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions and has argued before the Michigan Court of Appeals. Gasper handles cases ranging from motor vehicle accidents and slip & falls to wrongful death, catastrophic construction and trucking accidents, jail deaths, and complex civil rights litigation. From intake through verdict and appeal, he personally manages every phase of litigation and is known for aggressive, strategic advocacy, exhaustive discovery, and uncompromising trial preparation. Without question, Gasper is a fighter for the people and never backs down from large corporations, governments, and insurance executives.

Through verdicts and settlements, Gasper has secured over $40 million for his clients and their families. He has been named a Super Lawyers “Rising Star” for four consecutive years in both Indiana and Michigan, an honor awarded to only a small percentage of attorneys. Prior to joining Marko Law, Gasper built his trial foundation as a criminal defense attorney at a prominent Indianapolis firm, representing hundreds of clients in serious felony and violent crime cases. He also practiced at a large Chicago-based litigation firm focusing on civil rights, medical negligence, construction, and transportation matters, and gained corporate and negotiation experience while working for a Fortune 500 company.

Gasper earned a full academic scholarship to attend law school, where he also received the Indianapolis Bar Association’s Diversity Scholarship Award. Prior to earning his Juris Doctor with distinction from Indiana University School of Law, he graduated summa cum laude from Saginaw Valley State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

As a multi-national immigrant, born in Central Europe and raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Gasper brings a global and diverse perspective with a blue-collar work ethic to every case. He connects with his clients and understands the stress and hardship individuals and families face during times of crisis and tragedy. Gasper is licensed to practice in Michigan and Indiana, as well as multiple federal courts, and is an active member of the Michigan Association for Justice and the Detroit Bar Association.
