About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, driven Trial Attorney to join our growing team in downtown Detroit. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators on high-impact cases and develop real courtroom experience.

You will be involved in cases from intake through trial, gaining hands-on exposure to litigation strategy, client advocacy, and trial preparation.

What You’ll Do

• Represent clients in litigation matters across Michigan
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs
• Conduct depositions and discovery
• Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and strategy
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel
• Work directly with senior trial attorneys on active, high-stakes cases

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in personal injury, civil rights, or employment law preferred
• Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• A trial mindset: willing to prepare cases beyond settlement
• High attention to detail and organization
• Team-oriented, with a strong work ethic
• Positive, professional references

Compensation

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Additional hours or weekend availability as needed for active litigation and trial preparation
