DHDC has served Southwest Detroit since 1997 from its building on Trumbull Street. Its programs range from adult education and entrepreneurship to youth robotics and a Community Violence Interruption team.
When English is not your first language, a trusted neighborhood organization can make the difference between getting help and giving up. DHDC staff know the Detroit agencies and can walk alongside families in crisis.
Call or email to ask which program fits your situation. DHDC does not provide immigration legal services itself but works closely with groups that do. The site can be read in Spanish.
