Detroit Resources
Provides copies of your hospital records from DMC hospitals such as Detroit Receiving, Harper/Hutzel, Children's, Sinai-Grace and the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan.
DMC is the hospital system that includes Detroit Receiving, the Level I trauma center where many Detroit crash victims are taken. Its medical records offices release copies of charts, discharge papers and bills.
Your treatment records prove what injuries you had, when you were seen and what care you still need. Insurers and courts rely on them, so getting a full copy early helps.
Requests can go through the DMC patient portal or a paper form, and each hospital lists its own phone and fax (fax for all is 313-745-3500). Sinai-Grace is 313-966-4166 and the Rehabilitation Institute is 313-745-9831.
Each DMC hospital has its own records office and phone; you or your legal representative must sign an authorization, and fees may apply.
